A favorite of the State Room wedding photos from Leslie and Santo’s wedding was them riding to their ceremony in the State Room’s antique limo after their first look. I love her daughter’s reaction as the couple shows some affection.
State Room wedding photos from Leslie and Santo’s Wedding
Another great downtown Albany wedding and more great State Room wedding photos!
Featuring a first look downtown and a great ceremony and reception at The State Room, Leslie and Santo enjoyed an emotional wedding day filled with family and friends.
From nerves to tears to laughter, the day was rich with the two of them enjoying and responding to every moment around them.
Following are a few favorite images from the day. Get in touch with me to see many many more photos from their State Room wedding.

The chaos of getting ready suddenly comes together and a bride appears.
Leslie and her daughter excitedly heading to the first look in downtown Albany.
I just love this moment of anticipation as the first look is less-than-seconds away!
And Leslie and Santo see each other.
Working quickly, with decades of experience, I can capture the emotion from both the bride and groom during the first look.
Even though a first look happened, Santo is excited to see Leslie walking down the aisle.
I never get tired of seeing a bride process up the aisle. Even with a first look, there always is so much anticipation and excitement.
Excitement and a beautiful wedding ceremony at The State Room.
What do you do when you’re a kid at a wedding? You behave like a kid. Hey, they dressed him in a mini-tux so he fit the part.
Their emotions ran over as they exchanged vows. In the first photo, you can see Santo reaching for that tissue already … So much planning, anticipation, rehearsing … but it always is so fresh and emotional.
I now pronounce you …. and the tears flowed again once they were alone.
Until moments later and Leslie said “we’re married!!!!”
The big entrance into their State Room wedding.
I love how a couple can be alone together in a crowded room and I’m always looking for these moments that show their connection, whether alone during some formal portraits or alone on the dance floor amid 200 guests. That’s what makes this one of my favorite State Room wedding photos.
The parent dances can always be intimate.
And the parents dances can be emotional with the tears flowing as Santo dances with his mom.
This portrait was a favorite among the many I shot of Leslie and Santo as it feels so “open” and welcoming.
Hey! There’s a guy with a camera! Kids have been trained by their parents to sit up and take notice of cameras. And they do. This is a favorite shot from the formal group photos.
The structure which surrounded Leslie helped me create a classic and timeless portrait.
But this is a favorite portrait of Leslie downtown. One of those in-between, unplanned moments that I love to shoot so much.
The tones of their surroundings set the couple off in a way that has an almost three dimensional look. And it’s a sweet moment too.
Book me for enough time shooting on the wedding day. Allow for it in the schedule of the day and I can shoot all of the traditional group, formal and family photos. Extended time with each couple can also be scheduled so that we can get some great portraits of the two of you.
A wedding is about so much more than endless photos of jewelry and makeup being applied. And it’s more than endless group shots!
