Lake George wedding photographer and an Adirondack wedding at The Boathouse
There are so many locations I’ve worked at as a Lake George wedding photographer.
And an intimate and semi rustic wedding at The Boathouse on lake George is always a favorite. Georgia and Jeremy took advantage of the natural Adirondack surroundings and the relaxed atmosphere of the dining room for their wedding.

The early summer sunlight streams across the lawn at Georgia and Jeremy’s wedding at The Boathouse in lake George.
Of course group and formal photos are part of what I do as a wedding photojournalist and documentary wedding photographer. But they won’t be the majority of your wedding photos.
Georgia gets ready with the help of her mom, finalizing the dress before the ceremony.
There always is that moment of happiness when the wedding dress is finally on and it becomes clear that all of the planning has led up to the actual wedding!
Once the dress is complete, I like to take just a few minutes to make a quick portrait of the bride. With years of experience, I can take advantage of the natural light, or lighting I create, to make some beautiful portraits of the bride.
Outdoors, the Adirondack light and a beautiful bride right before her Lake George wedding.
Of course I can make some great portraits of the groom as well. Natural and relaxed are my goals as a Lake George wedding photographer. And years of experience allow me to find, and use the great natural light that already exists.
So often brides think they need multiple photographers. As an experienced photojournalist I can capture the emotions and reactions as they happen all around me. It’s my goal on the wedding day to do just that.
I’m always looking beyond the traditional ‘bride and groom walking down the aisle shot’. Of course I make that traditional photo. But I always stay with the moment as it unfolds in front of me, looking for something richer than the standard image everyone takes.
Let’s talk about making some intimate and authentic wedding photos.
