The moments leading up to the first look are always full of so much anticipation.
Making beautiful and relaxed portraits where you aren’t posing in some odd fashion is a specialty of mine as a Glens Falls wedding photographer. Many will call themselves natural light wedding photographers, but it just means they don’t know how to use flash and rely heavily on pre made Photoshop filters … kind of like Instagram. You want an experienced photographer who knows how to read the natural light and put it to its best use, as well as effortlessly add artificial light when needed.
Photos from the getting-ready portion of the day are about so much more than a picture of a makeup brush close to someone’s eye. This time of the day is all about camaraderie, fun and moments you’ll love reliving, such as the flower girls putting on lip gloss for the first time ever.
