Here are some of my posts which relate directly to the wedding and the wedding day. Have a look at what I produce as a wedding photojournalist at a real wedding. None of these photos were taken at workshops nor were they “styled sessions” which are basically set-up photo shoots which don’t represent the pressure and fast moving nature of the wedding day. These are all photos from real wedding’s that were personally taken by me.
Sunlight streams across the grounds as Ali and Josh share a happy moment at their Batcheller Mansion Inn wedding in Saratoga Springs. Relaxed portraits capture your personality as a couple and the moments they represent will be remembered far longer than just some standard poses.
Samantha and Corey are the center of attention at their beautiful Tuscan table surrounded by their guests at their Canfield Casino wedding.
Alone together, Nicole and Brendan share a smile at their National Museum of Dance wedding. Moments are so much more important than just poses.
Lauren and Nick share a quiet moment by the Hudson River during their winter reception at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie. Any time I get to work near the Hudson River, it makes me happy as a Rhinebeck wedding photographer.
Alex and Steve spend a little time on a summer afternoon enjoying each other's company for their Yaddo engagement photos. A relaxed engagement session will result in natural photos of they two of you looking like ...you!
Out on the water with Erin and Ryan as they celebrate their Lake George wedding. A wedding at The Inn At Erlowest and a trip out onto the lake gives me great opportunities to make great images as a Bolton Landing wedding photographer. It's all about the moments in the wedding day, not just the poses.
From their Albany wedding mass to their Batchelor Mansion Inn wedding, there were so many moments of fun, of emotion and of beautiful relationships for me to capture as a Saratoga Springs wedding photojournalist.
A stunning day for wedding photos on top of Prospect Mountain in Lake George. A beautiful walk down by the shore. Cheryl and Ryan looking awesome. Just a great day all around for their Fort William Henry wedding. And a great day in the beautiful Adirondack light for me as a Lake George wedding photographer.
The Adirondack Mountain sunlight cascades across Meghan and Brian at their Sagamore wedding. A Sagamore wedding in Bolton Landing is a favorite location for me as a wedding photographer Lake George.
A relaxed portrait early in the evening at a Hall of Springs wedding in Saratoga Springs. Spending time photographing my couples in small bits throughout the day produces a variety of natural and relaxed wedding day portraits.
A favorite photo of mine as an Albany wedding photographer is this dramatic one from Jamie and Chris' Albany cathedral wedding. You want wedding photos that don't look like all the standard ones you see from every other photographer!
The dunes and the sweeping Atlantic light at the end of Cape Cod were a perfect setting for relaxed portraits. Douglas and Keylon chose the personally meaningful location of Provincetown for their wedding. And the beautiful ocean light and beautiful settings were a dream for me as a Saratoga NY wedding photographer ... and New England native who loves getting back "home" to photograph!
Print your photos! It is great to be able to share and post photos electronically. You can reach so many people, in so many places, very quickly. But nothing compares to beautiful, professionally printed books and albums. Books that can be passed among family and friends as you share the photos, albums that feel great when you hold them.
Miranda and Kane stand by the shore of Lake Champlain with the Green Mountains of Vermont in the background. Their Adirondack wedding on the shores of the lake was in an area that I often have weddings as a Glens Falls wedding photographer.
Jessica and Patrick pause together high on one of the bluffs overlooking the Catskill Mountains as they strolled the forest paths during their Mohonk Mountain House wedding. The Mohonk Mountain House is one of the most dramatic places for a wedding and is a favorite location for me to work as a New Paltz wedding photographer.
